Because of Jesus... We are Loved

Pastor Joe Banks talks today about how the pain of rejection is as real as any physical pain. It's strange to think that the God of the universe knows the pain that we have experienced, but He does.

God could have abandoned us to hell, but instead He sent Jesus to pay for our sins like the lamb that was sacrificed in the Old Testament. The closest we will ever be to seeing God on this side of eternity, will be through the ways in which we love each other... despite how we've been treated.
