Tim and Marketa Southerland moved to The Netherlands in 1998.  They worked planting churches, introducing XA university ministry, teaching at a Bible school, and serving on the Dutch A/G national leadership team.  From 2006 until recently, they served as area directors in Europe caring for missionaries and cultivating national church partnerships.

In 2020, they were invited to join a new initiative in LAC reaching the Dutch speaking part of the Caribbean.  They believe that now is the time for a fresh move of the Spirit across this part of LAC.  Tim has a D. Min. from Fuller Seminary and Marketa has a teaching degree from Evangel University. They both speak Dutch, love reading, and taking long walks together.  They have three grown sons, James, Andrew, and Michael.

Tim holds a M.Div. from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and a D. Min. in Renewal from Fuller Theological Seminary.  Marketa has her B.A. in elementary education from Evangel University.  They both speak Dutch, love long walks, and reading.  They were married in 1985 and have three sons, James,  Andrew, and Michael.
