EASTER SUNDAY 8, 9:30, & 11 AM

Bruce Ridpath

Bruce and Lisa along with other AGWM missionaries, are helping to train more than 20 Columbian missionaries to work among isolated indigenous groups and in difficult countries where "North American" faces might not be welcome. They have been serving in Bogota'. Upon their arrival in Columbia  in 1992, they served four years as national youth directors.  In 1996, they came to Bogota'. Bruce, who now serves as the area's AGWM field moderator, is deeply concerned with planting the church where it does not yet exist and travels extensively to that end. Lisa, a registered nurse, oversees medial missions teams that visit Colombia and is also a marvelous help in caring for her fellow missionaries' medical needs. Over the last 70 years in Columbia, at least 7 million people have been displaced by violence simmering between the government, crime syndicates, and left wing guerillas.
